Our members receive a monthly newsletter and have opportunities to participate in field trips and seminars, as well as field and lab work. Projects include archaeological surveys, rock art recording and other cooperative activities with various institutions during the course of the year. Also, we have an annual potluck supper at our December meeting which is a tradition that everyone enjoys.

Regular meetings are held at 7:30 pm on the third Tuesday of each month (except August and December) in the auditorium of the Albuquerque Museum, 2000 Mountain Road NW, Albuquerque (in Old Town). There is a guest speaker at each meeting, and we work hard to be sure that you are guaranteed a wide variety of interesting and informative lectures. Our speakers are chosen from a diversity of professionals and scholars in archaeology and related fields. Our own Society members also provide a vast pool of experts from different fields of study who are happy to share their knowledge and expertise and tell some great stories, too.
